My Story
With a background in live theater stemming back to my first time onstage at age six, I have always understood the importance of storytelling and how it can bring people together. Even though I have left my life under the stage lights behind, my time as an actor helped steer me towards the direction of a life in communications.

I recently graduated from the College of Charleston where I received a degree in Communication and Creative Writing. Throughout my college career I was involved in campus is greek life, honor organizations and creative clubs such as CisternYard Media; where I served as the Editor-in-Chief and oversaw the production of two full-length magazines.

I am now working towards my Master's in Magazine, News and Digital Journalism at Syracuse University's Newhouse School of Public Communication. At SU I serve as the Lead Life and Style Producer for The Newshouse and as a News Editor for NCC News. I have also written pieces for multiple campus publications such as Jerk Magazine and The Daily Orange.

Outside of my academics and professional work I am a huge fan of live performances and frequent the theater to see plays, musicals and concerts. I also have a deep love of reading and can often be found with a book on me at all times or working on my debut novel.
I am passionate about continuous learning and dream of working in an environment that allows me to write, tell stories and meet new people!
